How this site came to be.
Can one person make a difference in this world?
In the days after the horrible tragedy that struck the Gulf Coast of the United States - hurricane Katrina, I witnessed a horror unfolding. Via the web, television, and from stories of colleagues and family, I knew that this disaster was of proportions beyond anything we have seen in the United States in recent years. My wife and I sent money to the Red Cross for immediate assistance, but I wanted to do more. While there will be much finger pointing in the days, weeks, and years to come, we should also take the time to remember all of those who's lives were taken in this disaster.
With my experience in web page authoring and databases, I decided that this would be my way to assist and help people in the United States, and all over the world, by giving them a place to
visit and pay their respects to all of the lives lost.
Your support is appreciated, for the victims of Hurrican Katrina, their families and friends. This site will remain as a permanent memorial.
I hope that I have helped to make a positive impact on this world with the work I do on maintaining this site.
Thank you for visiting.
